Builders recently celebrated 26 years of success,
thanks in part to the vision and leadership of
founding partner, Malcolm Morgan. His core business
philosophies—communication, integrity,
value, and quality construction—are shared
by each member of the MKB team.
Malcolm excels in teambuilding.
He enjoys listening to clients, assisting them
in articulating their dream, and managing the
company’s resources to make that dream
a beautiful reality. In addition, he is skilled
at creating cooperative and productive working
relationships between clients, architects, his
employees and subcontractors. Malcolm's many
years of experience enable him to negotiate projects
effectively, maintain a "big picture" perspective
for his team, and finish projects on time and
within budget.
Malcolm began his building career
at an early age in his native North Carolina.
He worked in various trades on construction projects
throughout high school and college. He also worked
with his grandfather who was a field engineer
for a national company. Malcolm went on to graduate
from the University of North Carolina in Asheville
with a major in economics and a minor in psychology.
He holds a General Contractor's License in the
states of North and South Carolina.
